The bank is a company licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 2013 to carry out micro-lending business for individuals and entrepreneurs and deposit-taking from the public.

Job Summary

• As the Finance Manager & Cost Controller at AutoBucks Lenders Limited, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company and implementing cost control measures.
• This position requires a strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed financial decisions that align with the company's goals.
• You will work closely with the management team to ensure the financial health and stability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:

• Oversee the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Cost Control:

• Develop and implement cost control strategies and measures to optimize expenses.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Collaborate with management to create and manage financial plans and budgets.
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company's financial stability.
• Manage working capital and make recommendations for cash flow improvements.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Communicate financial performance and forecasts effectively.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.

Audits and Compliance:

• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA) is preferred with 3-7 years experience.
• Proven experience in financial management and cost control roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and cost accounting.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
