We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Acquisition Lead

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Lead to lead our online marketplace for used cars. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the online marketplace for the used cars industry, as well as experience managing a team of professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • As the Acquisition Lead in our automotive retail industry, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our monthly set targets while remaining adaptable to changing market conditions and organizational instructions.
  • Your role is crucial in managing the acquisition and activation of auto dealers to facilitate sales and customer retention, with a strong emphasis on script creation and research.
  • Success in this role will require a strong focus on metrics, conversion rates, and effective communication.

Responsibilities
The following are some of the exciting projects you will be working on and responsible for:

  • Lead a team of acquisition agents with an emphasis on adaptability to achieve monthly targets and flexible responses to changing organizational instructions.
  • Develop and implement scripts and strategies that can be adjusted to improve conversion rates from interested prospects to initial bids.
  • Monitor market dynamics and make real-time adjustments to maintain a 60% auction retention percentage during the third week of each month.
  • Research and adapt approaches to increase the conversion rate of auction sales from leads, in line with division averages.
  • Foster high-quality interactions by continually researching and refining scripts to ensure effective and adaptable communication.
  • Gather and adapt to customer feedback, tailoring strategies to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction levels.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies that are agile and can be adjusted in response to changing market conditions.
  • Oversee the consistent delivery of high-quality outputs, adapting to evolving standards and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to you.

Requirements
We believe that you will succeed better if you possess the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in the automotive retail industry with a strong emphasis on adaptability.
  • Knowledge and experience in script creation and research, demonstrating the ability to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on responsiveness to change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A results-oriented approach, with the ability to adapt to evolving KPIs and organizational instructions.
  • Knowledge of the Nigerian automotive market is a plus.
