Tony-Ehon Development Centre (TOEDEC) is a non-profit organization committed to advancing the reproductive health, welfare, and quality of life of women, children, adolescents and young people in Nigeria. The goal of the organization is to establish a conducive environment that facilitates access to comprehensive rights, reproductive health, political progress, and nutrition for women, girls, and children throughout the country.

Job Title: Social Media Officer (Volunteer / Part-Time role)

Job Summary

• A talented and creative Social Media Officer to manage all TOEDEC’s social media accounts and promote the organization’s vision and mandates.
• The Social Media Officer (Volunteer/part - time role) will handle all online presence for the Organization, create content, online strategy direction, and social media initiatives that will inspire people to support the organization's brand, grow our followership, and drive good exposure and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Engage all the latest social media apps including LinkedIn, Twitter, FaceBook, Instagram, etc. in building a strong online brand presence for the organization (at least thrice a week across all these handles).
• Develop brand awareness and build an online reputation for the organization.
• Posting of recruitment needs on the various platforms answering enquiries from the public and providing updates where necessary.
• Post training schedules and updates including short videos, attendees’ interviews and pictures.
• Grow followership base on the various social media platforms drive traffic to TOEDEC’s website
• Administer the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content on all the organization's social media platforms in order to drive publicity and increase followership.
• Create a regular publishing schedule and calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
• The organization is an enabler of progress hence Pictures, content, video and graphics must project these to the online community.
• Identify key social media influencers who the organization can engage with, for continuous community building.
• Engage the organization 's online audience by engaging in dialogues and answering related questions where appropriate.
• Identify the organization's target audience and create new leads through brand development.
• Come up with promotional, engagement and conversion strategies for the company's online platform.
• SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic; Produce regular reports on social media performance.
• Develop analytics and report weekly on gender, age and locations of responses

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant educational Degree
• At least two years on the same role of traceable work experience in managing social media campaigns for organizations
• Proficient in content marketing theory and application
• Must be conversant with the various Analytics of the various Digital Media Platforms
• Must be able to effectively research GREAT content to post on the various digital media platforms.
• Analytical & detail oriented
• Strategic in decision making
• Excellent communication skills
• Maintains a working knowledge of the principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics
• Good understanding of graphics design is a PLUS
• Knack to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues, etc.
• A passion for a Not–for–profit work.

Salary

• Monthly Stipend: N20,000
• Monthly Data Support: N2,000
