Function

• Supervise the execution of fabrication works, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures and verify that works are correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and in the planned time frame.
• Provide support to connect assemblies and complete the end product, including Mechanical Completion, hydraulic and leak tests, preparation for sea transport, offshore hook-up and load-out.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Promote safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected.
• Ensure the fulfillment of the project quality and contractual requirements.
• Verify and confirm the availability of drawings, materials and equipment, to plan the efficient execution of the works performed by subcontractors or by direct hiring personnel.
• Prepare and coordinate the detailed programs for the assigned activities.
• Coordinate the interfaces with prefabrication activities.
• Coordinate human and technical resources, indicating any needs or surplus.
• Coordinate subcontractor involved in the assembly stages.
• Assist subcontractors or direct hiring personnel for the correct interpretation of the drawings, providing support in the solution of technical problems.
• Supervise the performance of fabrication yard erection activities such as piping erection, steel structures assembly, supports erection, painting, fit up, welding and lifting.
• Supervise fabrication yard installation operations (piping installation, E.I.T.).
• Coordinate pre-commissioning activities such as hydro tests and reinstatement.
• Verify that works are correctly carried out in accordance with the project specification, highlighting any engineering problems encountered in the field.
• Measure the progress of the works carried out.
• Provide quantitative data for producing weekly progress reports, monitoring the employed manpower.
• Ensure the continuous assessment of the quantities installed.

Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech

Special Requirements:

• Valid Medicals, BOSIET, HUET and Technical Certification

Experience:

• 6 years experience in fabrication
