Job Title: Pharmacy Attendant

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)

Job Summary

• As a Pharmacy Attendant at our pharmacy, you will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day operations and customer service within the pharmacy department.
• Your responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring a clean and organized work environment, and providing assistance to patients and customers. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing basic information on over-the-counter medications.
• Prescription Intake: Receive and accurately record prescription orders from customers, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
• Medication Dispensing: Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in preparing and labeling prescription medications, while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Help in maintaining an organized and well-stocked inventory of prescription and over-the-counter medications, including restocking shelves and monitoring expiration dates.
• Cash Handling: Process payments for prescription orders and over-the-counter purchases, providing receipts and accurate change.
• Record Keeping: Maintain and update patient records and pharmacy files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in documentation.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Assist in OTC Recommendations: Provide guidance to customers on the selection of over-the-counter medications, following pharmacy policies and federal regulations.
• Communication: Relay prescription and customer information effectively between the pharmacy team and customers.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess OND / HND / B.Sc Degrees in Pharmaceutical Technology or equivalent with 2 - 3 years relevant work experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• An interest in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
