Our landmark achievements with care and treatment services for adolescents and young persons in Nigeria continue to bring the organization to the attention of the international community. With support and input from varied stakeholders, STEM Hub for Empowerment of young women (S.H.E) project's new and innovative approach is designed to encourage the increased participation of adolescent girls and young women in the traditional male spaces of technology, digital skills, and financial literacy. Located in Ikeja, Lagos, the state-of-the-art STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Hub started operations for vulnerable adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) between the ages of 16 and 24 years. They will have the opportunity to participate in youth-friendly training at no cost, following a standardized curriculum with a focus on obtaining standard and globally accredited certifications.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Curriculum Delivery:

• Develop and deliver structured digital marketing lessons and workshops that cover key concepts, including SEO, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and paid advertising.
• Keep the curriculum up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Hands-On Learning:

• Create and oversee practical projects and activities that give students hands-on experience in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
• Encourage students to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Individualized Support:

• Provide one-on-one assistance and guidance to students who may need additional help or wish to explore advanced digital marketing topics.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.

Assessment and Feedback:

• Evaluate students' understanding and application of digital marketing strategies through assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their digital marketing skills.

Mentoring and Career Guidance:

• Serve as a mentor, inspiring young females to consider careers in digital marketing and related fields.
• Share insights into opportunities in the digital marketing industry.

Digital Marketing Enrichment Activities:

• Organize and participate in digital marketing-related events, campaigns, and workshops.
• Encourage students to explore digital marketing beyond the classroom.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other instructors and hub staff to develop interdisciplinary STEM programs and projects.
• Engage with parents, guardians, and community partners to promote digital marketing and tech education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, including areas such as SEO, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and online advertising.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to convey digital marketing concepts clearly.
• A passion for educating and inspiring young females to pursue careers in technology and digital marketing.
• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and a creative approach to digital marketing education.
