Our presence can be felt in three malls across Lagos; Rango Restaurant, Ikeja City Mall, Rango Rooftop Lounge, Josego Mall, Lekki and Rango restaurants, Novare Mall Sangotedo. Job Description

• As an Accountant for our chain of restaurants, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our business.
• You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing insights that drive sound financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Budgeting and forecasting to help drive cost control and profitability
• Conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Collaborating with the management team to develop financial strategies and plans
• Managingtax planning, filings, and compliance
• Overseeing payroll and employee compensation
• Maintaining a high level of data accuracy and confidentiality

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Professional Membership/Certificationis required (ICAN/ACCA)
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Strong communication, collaborative,and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Good stakeholder management skills with experience reporting to the Management
• Knowledge of restaurant-specific accounting processes and software is a significant advantage
