Deputy Director of Physical Planning at Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU)

Joseph Ayo Babalola University is licenced by the Federal Government to operate as a Private University in Nigeria. It is located at Ikeji Arakeji, along Ilesa-Akure Road, a popular route to the eastern and northern parts of the country. The location is a serene environment particularly suited for scholarship, research and other academic and spiritual activities.
The University employs education to bring out moral regeneration, godliness, selfless leadership, positive attitude to work, mutual understanding and love among ethnic, tribal and religious groups. It is a fully residential University.

In line with its motto "For knowledge and Godly Service", staff of the university are not only expected to be "best brain" in their specialties, they must also be Holy Spirit filled, prepared to act in loco parentis to their students and to present themselves as good role models for effective character training of students placed in their care. Requirements/Qualifications

• Candidate must have a good honours degree (not below Second Class lower division) in any of the following: Architecture, Building Technology, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management or any related discipline from a recognized university
• Must have at least twelve (12) years post qualification cognate experience in a university or comparable institution, eight (8) of which must be in a tertiary institution
• Must have spent at least four (4) years on CONTISS 13 or two (2) years as Deputy Director of Physical Planning in a private university.
• Be registered member of relevant professional bodies such as COREN, NIOB, CORBON, ARCON, NIA, NIQS, NITP, TOPREC, and NIESV.
• Possession of a higher degree in relevant field will be an added advantage.
