Job Description

• We are looking for a Finance NYSC Intern to support our finance and Internal Audit department in various financial activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail.
• This internship will provide valuable on-the-job experience and exposure to finance-related tasks within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in budget preparation and analysis.
• Perform financial analysis and research as required.
• Support in reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Assist in the preparation of financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization to gather financial data and support various projects.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (must be completed or ongoing during the NYSC service year).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerbi, Sage, and other accounting related software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to the team.
