Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities.
• You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget.

Duties
The General Maintenance Supervisor is to perform the under listed functions:

Equipment Maintenance Functions:

• Ensure that daily checks are carried out on all company equipment (Cranes, trucks, generators and forklifts) by operators in compliance with company equipment daily check sheets.
• Ensure that all daily check sheets once completed must be submitted to the Ops Manager or his delegate and signed off, if in good conditions.
• Inform the maintenance manager of any fault on any equipment to facilitate timely repairs
• Organize the weekly washing of all applicable equipments and full inspection of same
• Present weekly reports detailing the overview of the equipment situation as per procedure and follow up to ensure close out.

Facility Maintenance Functions:

• Ensure that daily maintenance checks are carried out qualified technician on all ESS Electrical,mechanical and Structural Facilities.
• Ensure that any faults noticed on any of company Facilities arereported immediately
• Ensure that all electrical appliances must be switched off in all offices on leaving the office with the exception of offices that run on 24hrs service.
• Ensure that periodic services to be carried out on company Facilities are in line with Maintenance Contractors service matrix.
• Filing of all documents (relating to his duties) in the appropriate manner
• Any other functions that may be assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc / HND in any relevant discipline, with experience from Cargo handling Terminal or similar areas .Other relevant certifications would be added advantage.
• Must be fluent in English Language -spoken and written
• Must have at least 6 years work experience in industrial maintenance areas,
• Must be proactive and have ability to think outside the box
• Must show deep sense of commitment, and dedication to organizational growth
• Qualities of integrity, patience, attention to details and excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be computer literate, must have knowledge of Microsoft applications.
