The Role
CCL Contracts Consultancy Limited (www.cclglobal.com) has been requested by a major international contractor to provide experienced Senior Mechanical Engineers for the detailed engineering of FPSO topsides project based in Lagos. Single status, rotation 5 weeks on / 1 week off / 6 working days a week. Travel as required by client. One year (renewable) contract. Rates and T&Cs to be discussed and agreed..

The Person
6 to 10 years of experience in design and execution of projects in offshore oil & gas facilities. Experience associated with the design and vendors engineering follow-up of rotating equipment (such as pumps, compressors, steam turbines, gas turbines, etc.) and handling gear in accordance with client requirements, codes, standards, etc. Experience holding positions as a lead discipline engineer on a large project and/or several smaller projects at detail engineering phase.

Qualifications Required
Ideal candidates will hold an engineering degree or diploma. Conversant with international codes and standards and engineering practices in the industry, among others API code related to rotating equipment. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential. Must be eligible to reside and work in Nigeria.
