CCL  Contracts Consultancy Limited has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Senior Structural Engineer. Residential position based in Lagos. Contract duration 1 year (renewable).

The Role:
CCL (www.cclglobal.com) has been requested by a major international contractor to provide experienced Senior Structural Engineers for the detailed engineering of FPSO topsides project based in Lagos. Single status, rotation 5 weeks on / 1 week off / 6 working days a week. Travel as required by client. One year (renewable) contract. Rates and T&Cs to be discussed and agreed.

The Person
Candidates should have 6 - 10 years experience in conceptual FEED and detailed design experience with offshore Oil & Gas structural engineering. Have held a position as a lead discipline engineer on a large project and / or several smaller projects at detail engineering phase. Have working knowledge of verifying structural design and calculations towards relevant industry Codes, Standards, Design Guides, Rules and Regulations. Ensure that structural work meets the requirements of the Company's quality policy and procedures. Previous experience with client and especially the knowledge of client General Specifications would be a plus. Educated / worked in Europe for EPC Companies an advantage.

Qualifications Required
The ideal candidates will have a university degree or diploma such as a BS in Civil Engineering, advanced degrees and PE a plus. Have a good knowledge of international Codes and Standards and Engineering Practices in the industry. Proficiency with SACS and ANSYS software, preparing study reports related to structural design. Fluent in written and spoken English. Must be eligible to live and work in Nigeria.
