Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Strategy, Supplier Relationship Management, New Business Development, Sales and Revenue Generation, Collaboration and Communication,
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify key trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the supply and materials sector.
Develop and implement effective business development strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and drive growth.
Identify and establish relationships with potential suppliers and partners.
Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that align with customer needs and company objectives.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the supply and materials business segment.
Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the leadership team.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, presenting business proposals and updates as needed.
Any other duties as assigned or required by the company or the group.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
8+ years of sales and/or ops experience in property, construction, finance, etc.
Proven experience in business development, with a focus on supply chain and materials.
Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and building strong supplier relationships.
Experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with supply chain processes and materials management
Technical supply chain operation & material sector skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments
Proven sales track record
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software (e.g. Odoo, Salesforce), and other sales application programs
Excellent presentation, interpersonal skills, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build strong relationships with clients
Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically with problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work with little or no supervision.
