Position Overview

• We are looking for a highly qualified and visionary Head of School to lead our Nursery and Primary school.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and operational management to ensure the overall success of the school.
• The Head of School will play a crucial role in maintaining high academic standards, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting the school's values.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Vision:

• Provide visionary leadership to the school community, guiding the development and implementation of educational programs that align with our mission and values.

Academic Excellence:

• Oversee curriculum development, ensuring it meets high academic standards and promotes a well-rounded education for students. Develop relevant strategies for improvement.
• Ensure a consistent and continuous school wide focus on pupils’ achievement which reflects the agreed vision and values, using data and benchmarks to monitor progress in every child’s learning

Staff Management:

• Recruit, develop, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff to maintain a high-performing team.
• Take a strategic role in the development of new and emerging technologies to enhance and extend the learning experience of pupils and staff

Community Engagement:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, students, staff, and the wider community to create a supportive and collaborative school environment.

Operational Management:

• Ensure efficient day-to-day operations, including budget management, facility maintenance, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in education, with a proven track record in leadership and managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian and the British educational system and curriculum.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
