Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Car Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repair and maintain vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension, and brake systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex vehicle problems.
• Complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of vehicle accessories and modifications.
• Collaborate with the parts department to order and replace necessary components.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualification and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal automotive technician training program is a plus.
• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Car Mechanic, typically 2-5 years.
• Any additional certifications or specializations in automotive repair are advantageous.
• Prior experience with a variety of vehicle types and models is beneficial.
• Proven experience as a Car Mechanic, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electronics.
• Familiarity with various vehicle makes and models.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to explain complex issues to non-technical individuals.
• Physical fitness and agility to work in various positions and lift heavy objects.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

N50,000 - N80,000 / Month
