Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically within the Marine sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and identifying new opportunities within the Oil & Gas and Marine segments.
This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully executing business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion within the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
Stay informed about industry regulations, technological advancements, and competitive landscapes.
Develop and implement effective business development strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
Good portfolio with clientele in Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers within the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
Understand clients' needs and work towards providing customized solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations to strengthen the company's position in the market.
Negotiate and finalize business agreements with partners to achieve mutual benefits.
Drive sales efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets within the Oil & Gas and Marine segments.
Develop and present compelling proposals to clients, showcasing the company's capabilities and value proposition.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical departments, to ensure a unified approach towards business development goals.
Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development within the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on the Marine sector.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales and revenue targets.
Strong understanding of the technical aspects and challenges within the Oil & Gas and Marine sectors.
Proven track record of developing and maintaining key client relationships.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
