Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Cloud Architect to join our dynamic Infrastructure and Cloud team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, architecture design, and implementation. 
• As a Mid-Level Cloud Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture Design:

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements for cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, documentation, and best practices.

Cloud Platform Expertise:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services and solutions based on project requirements.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the cloud space.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate IaC into the overall development lifecycle.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based solutions by implementing best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits, addressing vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.

Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications and services.
• Implement scaling strategies to accommodate growing workloads efficiently.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with stakeholders, including developers, system administrators, and business units, to understand their requirements and provide effective cloud solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.
• Collaborate with support teams to resolve incidents and implement preventive measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
• Certification in one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security principles.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
