Job Title: Business Development Associate (Taxaide)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We currently sourcing for the role of an experienced Business Dev, specifically one with a proven background in the financial sector, accounting services, and taxation.
  • Our ideal candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of financial products and services, coupled with expertise in accounting principles and taxation.

Job Duties

  • Analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies to increase revenue.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Explain to prospective clients about the advantages of the services offered and follow up with them in order to close the business deals.
  • Respond to the client queries regarding the products and services in a timely fashion.
  • Manage customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
  • Develop business proposals for new and existing customers.
  • Maintain a knowledge repository of clients, referrals, RFPs, prospects and presentations.
  • Develop strong customer relationships in order to generate high volume of prospective clients.
  • Determine cross-selling opportunities among different units within the Taxaide Group.
  • Handle business development strategy including targeting, prospecting, and presenting compelling business propositions.
  • Gather potential client background information including company history, recent market, competitors, key decision makers and other crucial information to a better understanding of prospective clients.
  • Originate new Clients for the Company and originate new work from existing Clients for the Company.
  • Create and build profitable and successful relationships with clients by
  • marketing and cross selling of the company products.
  • Constant communication with prospective clients via cold calls, networking events and use of social media with the goal of generating business opportunities.
  • Qualify all leads and scope of opportunity through the lens of the industry beliefs, while helping clients to understand our offering and the value gained by working with us.
