Job Description

• We are currently has an opening for a Security and Safety Systems Manager specializing in Access control/CCTV/Intruder Burglar Alarms and Fire Detection with Telecom/Network experience and knowledge.
• As a Safety/Security Systems Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by leading the technical team, securing new commercial and industrial business opportunities throughout the Country.
• Providing technical design for the Security and Safety Systems with a special focus on installation and maintenance of a large scale integrated security and safety system. Supervise subordinates and ensure that work is carried out in a competent and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• To provide Safety/Security systems, and associated telecom/networking infrastructure designs and specifications to relevant National and International Standards. Produce high level and detailed design technical documentation, including CAD drawing review and development. Including construction documentation.
• Collaborate with clients to design CCTV, fire detection, intruder/burglar alarm, and/or access control systems that align with their specific requirements and government regulations. In accordance with relevant statutory, codes, industry best practice and the Quality Assurance Systems.
• Be the focal point for engaging OEMs and other technical stakeholders.
• Identify and research potential customers in the Residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Develop strategies to approach and engage them effectively and gain increased market share for the company.
• Foster relationships with existing clients and cultivate new customer connections to maintain and expand client base.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual targets for installation order value, gross margin, and recurring revenue.
• Design and manage a robust after-sales services to clients.
• Address urgent customer queries in a timely and professional manner to maintain client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to obtain quotes via email and phone, ensuring the accuracy of technical drawings and building strong relationships with suppliers.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with our established global supply-chain network.
• Function as the Specialist technical liaison with the implementation team and support other disciplines of the project in various project locations.
• Input into the functional, performance and operational system specifications.
• To be responsible and accountable for the proposed integrated technical solutions design across various subcontractors and subsystem solutions.
• Support the Design Team Lead in understanding the technical risks, dependencies and issues that exist and be able to quantify these and the impact that they may have on the project in a concise legible reporting format.
• Ensure that all project specifications are implemented in the technical solution and are compatible with the project's overall architecture including structured cabling and OSP. Identify any and all compliance issues with recommended resolution options.
• Meet and discuss with client, end users and other stakeholders, on the CCTV and associated networking infrastructure for the project design.
• Research and disseminate knowledge of existing, new, and proposed products and services available within the CCTV/Security marketplace.
• Develop professional relationships with the client by demonstrating an understanding of their business and their technology requirements and achieving reliable, timely and high-quality delivery.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• B.Sc./HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Computer Science and ICT.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in the Security industry. Reasonable Certifications of IT Networking and Literacy – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint MS Project.
• Demonstrable practical experience in electrical installation work, especially on CCTV, Burglar/intruder/fire alarms and other security products like panic buttons and access control.

Essential Capabilities/Technical Skills:

• Broad knowledge and expertise in Designing Information and communications technology (ICT) systems, Audio visual (AV) system, security system (Closed-circuit television (CCTV), Access control), fire detection, alarm and emergency voice evacuation system, public address & background music, building management systems, IP video, Intelligent Video, video storage & archiving, command/control display technologies and general Security system principles and practices. etc as applicable to modern buildings. Understanding of External Sitewide Security design, selection of cameras, Field equipment, Command and Control room.
• Good understanding of ICT passive systems including Fiber optic and Cu cabling, IDF/ODF cabinets and active systems such as storage, switches, firewalls, and servers etc.
• Good knowledge of technical infrastructure and integration technologies to include power, UPS, networking, communications,
• Experience of design and implementation of large-scale integrated security systems and complex projects.
• Familiarity with International Building Codes and Standards, ELV regulations, BICSI, EIA/TIA standards
• Demonstrate experience in the design, procurement, and application of IT/security solutions/techniques in a commercial and/or law enforcement environment.
• Network experience to include WAN, LAN, firewall, network switch technologies and video transmission on IP networks.
• Good working knowledge of all areas of Security Design and Requirements.
• Production of O & M documentation.
• Ability to quickly develop professional and trusted relationships with a variety of cultures and clients.
• High level of self motivation and an ability to work with a high level of initiative and limited supervision, in high pressure situations.
• Strong team player who can communicate, motivate, and interact effectively with technical, commercial, and clerical team-members.
• Willingness and ability to work flexibly and diligently.
• Carry out any reasonable request relating to job scope.

Salary
N170,000 / month.
