Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Civil & Structural Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Permanent

Description

• Develop detailed structural designs for needed production infrastructures e.g pipelines, storage tanks, etc.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity, safety, and compliance of all structures within the production facility with relevant industry standards and codes.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing structures, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Create and maintain accurate records of design changes, project progress, and as-built documentation.

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Engineering or any related field. Professional engineering license is a plus.
• A minimum of 7 years' experience as a civil & structural engineer in the Oil & Gas industry
• Several years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry with exposure to upstream operations.
• Proficiency in using CAD software for drafting and designing plans, structures, and infrastructure.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines, with the ability to identify and mitigate electrical hazards.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholder.
