With a global presence, we specialize in the exploration, development, and production of lithium resources to meet the growing demands of the energy storage and electric vehicle markets.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in the lithium mining sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our international lithium mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, potential customers, and emerging opportunities in the lithium mining sector.
  • Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to inform business development strategies.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company's presence in the international lithium mining market.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align business development efforts with the overall corporate strategy.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and government agencies.
  • Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and off-take agreements.

Project Evaluation and Due Diligence:

  • Assess the feasibility and viability of potential lithium mining projects through comprehensive due diligence.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate geological, environmental, and economic aspects of potential projects.

Proposal Development and Presentation:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential partners, investors, and clients.
  • Articulate the value proposition of the company and its lithium mining projects.

Contract Negotiation:

  • Lead negotiations for contracts, agreements, and commercial terms with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that contractual agreements are aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

Networking and Industry Representation:

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and forums to enhance its visibility and reputation.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the lithium mining and energy storage industries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development within the lithium mining or related industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully securing and managing business development deals.
  • Strong understanding of lithium market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Salary
N400,000 / Month.
