We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounting Officer

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities 
The candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing the financial bookkeeping of an organization.
• Managing all accounting transactions
• Maintaining and reviewing financial records.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
• Preparing budgets for events and others.
• Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports.
• Evaluating internal management systems, procedures, and risks in order to provide recommendations.
• Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements in time.
• Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
• Managing a company’s accounts payable and receivable.
• Sending bills and invoices to clients.
• Tracking organization expenses.
• Processing refunds.
• Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments.
• Auditing financial transactions and documents

Requirements
The candidate should have:

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in relevant fields with 3 - 5 years work experience.
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Knowledge of regulatory standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and Financial reporting
• Spreadsheet skills
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate financial reports.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.
• Accountants need to be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in their work.
• Ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A strong understanding of business operations and a keen interest in numbers are also beneficial.
