Head of User Growth at Transsion Holdings

Transsion Holdings, the company formerly known as TECNO TELECOM LIMITED, established in July 2006, is a high-tech company specializing in the R&D, production, sale and service of mobile communication products. After years of development, Transsion has become an important part of the mobile phone industry and one of the major mobile phone manufacturers in the world. Currently, it has full ownership of three famous mobile phone brands TECNO, itel and Infinix, and an after-sales service brand Carlcare.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of User Growth

Location: Lagos 

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute user growth strategies to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization, especially in the mobile app space.
• Design and implement various marketing campaigns including on-ground promotions (geo-targeted campaigns) and digital campaigns to enhance brand awareness and attract new users.
• Optimize our presence on the Google Play Store, improving app store optimization (ASO) to increase app visibility and downloads.
• Understand user behaviors through data analysis, propose optimization suggestions to improve user experience, increase app engagement, and loyalty.
• Work closely with the product and technical team to enhance app features and functionalities that align with user growth targets.
• Track and analyze competitors’ strategies in the app market and other marketing channels to improve existing strategies.
• Monitor key metrics and funnel performance related to app user acquisition, retention, and engagement.

Qualification Required

• Over 5 years of experience in user growth or related fields, with a specific focus on mobile app growth.
• Strong knowledge of app marketing platforms and strategies, including experience in running successful geo-targeted campaigns.
• Proven experience with Google Play Store optimization and understanding of the algorithms and ranking factors.
• Sensitivity to numbers, strong data analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of user behavior within mobile apps, capable of providing insightful strategies.
• Understanding of the Nigerian app market, those with relevant work experience are preferred.
• Experience in coordinating on-ground marketing campaigns and teams.
