Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the sales strategy and achieving revenue targets for our logistics services.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to optimize the sales approach.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
Provide coaching, training, and guidance to enhance the team's performance.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture within the
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Understand client needs and proactively offer tailored logistics solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management review.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Provide timely and insightful feedback to senior management.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to align strategies and meet customer expectations.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
10+ years’ experience in Operations focused on trucking and large consumer-oriented brands.
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
