Job Description

• Are you a seasoned Head of credit with a passion for leading teams and optimizing credit processes?
• We are looking for an experienced loan manager in fintech.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices to evaluate and optimize fast loan possession
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of credit analysts, underwriters, and loan officers. Provide guidance, training, and support to foster a positive work environment.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure effective credit processes, customer acquisition, and loan disbursement. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as credit bureaus and regulatory authorities.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on credit portfolio performance, delinquency rates, default rates, and key credit metrics. Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to senior management.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize credit processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline workflows.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic plans for credit operations. Provide insights and recommendations for long-term growth and success.
• Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the credit portfolio. Stay informed about industry trends and evolving risks to proactively address potential challenges.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and compliance within credit operations. Establish and monitor key performance indicators for quality benchmarks.

Requirements

• Experience in Fintech or any related field.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in credit risk management, underwriting, or related roles within the financial services industry. Previous leadership or managerial experience is preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, financial statement analysis, and risk assessment techniques. Ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed credit decisions.
• Knowledge of Fintech and Technology: Familiarity with financial technology innovations and digital lending platforms. Understanding of emerging trends in the fintech industry and their impact on credit operations.
• Risk Management: Solid knowledge of credit risk management principles, including credit scoring, credit policies, and risk mitigation strategies. Experience in developing and implementing credit risk models is a plus.
• Compliance Expertise: Thorough understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, such as consumer lending laws, data privacy regulations, and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. Ability to ensure compliance within credit operations.
• Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience in Fintech.
