Job Title: Content Creator

Location: Airport Road, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Content Creator located in Abuja. The Content Creator will be responsible for creating engaging written, graphic, and video content to attract and retain customers.
• They will collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement content strategy and maintain an editorial calendar.
• Other responsibilities include researching and analyzing industry trends, developing content ideas, and editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop innovative content to attract new customers and maintain existing ones
• Developing and implementing creative and effective social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand visibility, drive user engagement, and grow our audience.
• Conduct research on current trends and strategies
• Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to create and develop multimedia content in line with company’s brand messaging and client’s needs
• Promote and create awareness for the company and its products over multiple social media and e-commerce platforms
• Leveraging the latest short-form video trends on platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram Reels to attract new audiences and enhance user engagement.
• Engaging with our audience through comments, messages, and interactions to build a strong and active community around our channel.
• Utilizing data-driven insights and analytics to optimize content performance, identify growth opportunities, and maximize our channel's reach and subscriber base.
• Initiating and managing collaborations with relevant influencers, content creators, and partners to expand our channel's exposure and reach new audience.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• 3+ years experience as a content creator.
• Experience in content creation, social media management, and copywriting
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Hands-on experience in content creating using CapCut, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Canva, Figma amongst others.
• Time-Management in having a content creation calendar and posting in a timely manner
• Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and proficiency in the use of picture and video editing software
• Strong portfolio with a variety of content creation examples across different mediums
• Ability to deliver creative content in various formats (text, image, and video).
• Must be a team player and able to manage of team.
