Shell companies have been finding and producing oil and gas around the world for over a century. Today, we have interests in exploration and production ventures in more than 80 countries and employ approximately 90,000 people.
This is a technically challenging work environment characterised by a continuing need for research, the pursuit of new technology, and the adoption of new ways of working. It demands people who will thrive in a culture that encourages and rewards innovation, collaboration and the ability to learn from success as well as failure.
Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) is the pioneer and leader of the petroleum industry in Nigeria. It is capable of producing an average of over one million barrels of oil equivalent per day. The company's operations are concentrated in the Niger Delta and adjoining shallow offshore areas where it operates in an oil mining lease area of around 30,000 square kilometres.

@ Solomon, I believe you've not even read the job description and you are already responding to them. Let the search for a good job not make us lose our minds and throw our dignity away. Take your time and study the positions, and this is not where to submit your CV.

I am just startled with the typos, grammatical errors and irrelevant comments that the so called graduates make on this job board. If you can't read well or write well, why are you making rubbish comments. Use the time you spend on writing rubbish English to prepare and send your cv if you are GENUINELY QUALIFIED.

I have just received a letter for employment from your firm by Mr. Tony Samuel as a safety and health compliance officer stationed out of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and was checking to make sure that this is an official letter from your firm. Please advise ASAP at my e mail address. Thank you. Unfortunately there have been many scams from your country, and I just want to make sure that the letter that I received is legitimate. Best Regards.

@Robert Dickson - Please be aware that the Job Offer is likely to be a scam. If you did not apply for any job in Shell, there is no way you will be offered a job in Shell, besides, Shell is a multinational company and does not ask job seekers for any payment of before working, even work permit. Pls be weary. Thanks.
