Commerce / Business Studies Teacher at Valid Crown Digital College

Valid Crown computer-based college is a fully automated ICT institution with 21st-century ICT learning capabilities, where learning processes, management operations, results and information management system will be fully automated. This new college will enable learning to be ICT enabled in all there class activities carried out in school and outside school environment. We are a computer-based secondary school, where learning is fully done digitally, following global standards, with a soft blend of Nigerian and International Curricula.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Commerce / Business Studies Teacher

Location: Bwari, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

• Teach business studies and commerce to the students in the assigned classes.
• Assess student academic performance regularly and provide them with guidance and feedback for academic success. Understanding the curriculum and developing schedules, lesson plans, and teaching methods that will help students cover the required content
• Setting up tests, assignments, and grading students
• Keeping meticulous records of student attendance, participation, homework, test, and examination scores
• Deliver engaging, coherent, and motivating lessons to students across varying classes

Requirements

• B.Sc. / B.Sc. Ed / PGDE in Business Education or related course
• 1 year work experience.
• Must possess strong practical knowledge and skills in delivering lessons to students
• Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.

Skills and Abilities:

• Evidence of good classroom practice and excellent teaching, including the use of different learning styles.
• Evidence of teaching, which demonstrates good progress and achievement of pupils across the ability range. Ability to work as a team member and to form good working relationships with colleagues.
• Good communication, organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and show good attention to detail.
• Ability to undertake tasks related to monitoring and evaluation.
• Commitment and ability to work with colleagues to improve classroom effectiveness and raise achievement.
• Ability to manage students firmly, fairly and effectively.
• An enthusiastic approach to working with children.

Salary
N40,000 monthly.
