Job Description

• We are looking to employ a Research Officer who will take ownership of all reasearch, document review, correspondence, and newsletters to all stakeholders;

Responsibilities

• Provide quality weekly, monthly, and quarterly newsletters/reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
• Quarterly macroeconomic reviews with forecasts, and analysis of major policy pronouncements and decisions
• Provide regular industry analysis and market scan to support clients/mandate prospecting
• Prepare detailed financial analysis and model of companies/projects in support of transactions
• Prompt delivery and circulation of newsletters and findings
• Preparation of proposals and other documents in an acceptable manner for external stakeholders
• Developing contents for the Company's social media handles
• Responsible for product development
• Providing information and developments in market, and Prepare semi-annual peer review and analysis
• Producing high quality and varied research outputs for a range of audiences including analysis, report writing and presentations where necessary on project operations.
• Maintaining database of all research activities/interventions.
• Archiving all finalized research work plans, monthly action plans, and updated databases related to all research activities.
• Analyze and resolve research issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conducting both qualitative and quantitative analysis of data collected through interviews, focus groups workshops or other methods.
• Carrying out desktop research, using a range of methods and sources of data, related to inequality and social innovation practice globally.
• Any other task assigned

Key Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Statistics, Demography or related subject, with previous experience working in research projects;
• At least 3 years of proven experience in the research
• Demonstrated knowledge of research, M&E concepts and international quality standards;
• Evidence of past research conducted or contributed tools;
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken skills).
• Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A degree in a related field
• Relevant certification.
