We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Part-time

Key Responsibilities
Delivery Operations:

• Execute timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Ensure proper handling and care of packages during transit.

Communication:

• Maintain clear and effective communication with the logistics team to coordinate deliveries.
• Provide real-time updates on delivery status and any unforeseen circumstances.

Documentation:

• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to deliveries.
• Verify and obtain signatures for goods received upon delivery.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct routine checks on the assigned delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any issues or required maintenance promptly.

Customer Service:

• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Address any customer queries or concerns promptly and courteously.
• Maintain effective communication with the logistics team to coordinate delivery operations.
• Pay attention to detail to ensure the safe delivery of goods.

Adherence to Regulations:

• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety during transportation.
• Comply with company policies and procedures related to delivery operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Valid motorcycle license.
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider or similar role, with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations.
• Ability to handle packages with care and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Time-management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
