They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Engineer

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operating of the industry.
• Facilitates, directs, maintenance and support all groups in the production of a quality product that “exceeds our customers’ expectation.
• Accurately interpret and visualize preliminary designs and create models using Silicone Rubber Mould
• Create physical models of product blueprints through Polyurethane Vacuum Casting & Silicone rubber mould.
• Develop and validate standard work instructions for assigned processes
• Develop and facilitate process improvements for assigned processes
• Responsible for troubleshooting quality concerns and direct production team as needed to ensure quality standards are met as well as working with and notifying the maintenance team for trouble shooting and root cause issues with the machines
• Collaborate with architect and graphic designer to develop design concepts and functional prototypes for testing
• Ensure Models & samples built are within specification & requirement.
• Develop & document process technique for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate samples defect root cause & determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Responsible maintaining good housekeeping in the workplace & ensuring compliance with Safety & Health guideline in workplace.
• Coordinate with external parties for outsource job, material purchases and machine services.
• Review and compare technical specifications for new technology and machines.

Requirements

• Preferably a Mechanical Engineer with 12 -14 years experience in manufacturing machinery operations and maintenance.
• Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a Post Diploma is an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge in engineering plastic material - mechanical & technical data.
• Good knowledge of reading engineering drawings.
• Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Intermediate knowledge of 3D CAD modelling designs
• Familiar with plastic / metal part design and manufacturing processes.
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Ability to come up with new ways of doing things.
• Good time management skills on individual tasks and when coordinating work with others.
• Responsible for completing other tasks and projects as directed by leadership to ensure the success of the Industry.
• A high level of analytical ability is required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Immediately address any potential safety issues with appropriate personnel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill..

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
