AddEdge Solutions Limited - Our client, a reputable and fast growing polystyrene (Styrofoam) manufacturing company based in Lagos, driven by progress and thriving on the challenge of relentless improvement, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Machine Operator / Technician

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Internship

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets work instructions, and any other related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations and dimensional and finish specifications.
• Interpreting instructions and procedures to assembly equipment.
• Welding and drafting
• Performing inspection of equipment, structures, materials and products.
• Inspect each part to ensure quality standard of work.
• Monitors machine for any mechanical issues often and repair.
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment to ensure quality standards.
• Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
• Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
• Other duties as may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• Technical certification in the relevant machine operation or Ond Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5 or 7 years experience in machine operation in relevant industry necessary.
• Strong analytical communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Good knowledge and experience with machinery and using various hand tools and power tools.
• Attention to details.
• In good health condition.
• Keeping the work environment safe.
• Learning and applying the best relevant knowledge to the work.
• Intermediate knowledge in Corel draw, autocad and ms office.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
