O’Naturals Beauty was established by three sisters to meet the demand of women who require natural products and services that care for their bodies and natural hair.

Job Title: Front Desk Officer
Location: Kosofe, Ogudu - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Supervisor/ CEO / Salon Manager/ Admin Officer
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure the day-to-day running of the salon and retail shop
Greet customers, respond to questions and provide outstanding customer service
Answer phone calls and messages about inquiries and handling complaints in a courteous, professional manner
Direct customers to products within the store and assist in packing the products to the front desk for invoicing and payment.
Operate cash register, manage financial transactions and balance cash drawer
Proactively identity relevant stock required in the salon and retail shop and forward requisition request to the salon on a timely basis
Receive supplied product and assist in arranging and displaying accordingly in the salon and retail shop
Maintain accurate and updated records of salon transactions and activities
Manage the arrangement, layout and organisation of the Salon and retail shop. This will involve constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders
Develop service and product knowledge by consistently learning about salon services, product vendors resource materials and attending training classes in order to communicate it to the customer
Stay current with promotional events and sales
Prepare periodic activity/management reports for the attention of the Salon Manager
Perform other duties as assigned by the Salon Manager or CEO
Other Duties:
Keeping a positive work atmosphere
Promoting O'Naturals Beauty Nigeria Limited and its brand principles
Attendance at company activities in and out of the company premises.
Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 2-4 years
Technical Skills and Capabilities:
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, colleagues and management
Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
High level of proactivity and ability to follow through on assigned tasks
High integrity and ethical standards
Ability to answer and make telephone calls to vendors and customers
Ability to communicate complex issues effectively by telephone, in writing, by e-mail and in person
Ability to handle challenging and sometimes emotional situations and customers
Organised approach to tasks, with an eye for detail
Ability to work calmly under pressure prioritising competing demands effectively
Keep up to date on all new hairstyling techniques, equipment and products.
Good Understanding of products used and sold at the retail shop and salon.
Ability to recommend and sell products to customers to meet their hair needs
Educate customers on hair care methods and products and inform them about available products and services rendered at the salon.
Work Schedule:
Shifts vary. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 9:00AM – 6:00PM, Thursday: 9:00AM - 6PM, Sunday: 12:30PM – 6:00PM, Environmental Saturday: 12Noon – 6PM. Please note that you may be required to work outside of these hours.
May be required to work during “off” days
May be required to work holidays, during scheduled work weeks
Must be flexible and able to fill-in on short notice if needed
May be required to work overnight or early mornings for events and home service, as the occasion demands
Appearance:
Required attire includes dress code of stipulated uniform for the day on simple, well-fitting skirt or trousers.
Be neat, professional and smart in appearance and while carrying out duties
Shoes must be clean and polished. Toenails should be well manicured when wearing open-toe shoes
Hair constantly finished and fashionable
Cosmetics worn consistently, appropriately and professionally (if possible)
Customer service:
Welcome new and old customers by standing up, with a smile and friendly greeting as they enter the retail shop
Inform customers of product prices and expiry dates before their purchase.
Comfort customers, thank them for their patience and purchase, offer them reasonable means of relaxation as provided.
Handle all customers with respect and treat all their concerns quickly and respectfully.
Not easily irritated / offended by client demands or antagonism. Maintains composure, decorum and objectivity
Hands out business cards to every client and asks for referrals
Team Player:
Involved in team activities, like coaching, staff meetings, staff outings
Assists in planning team activities
Helps other staff
Maintain good communication with Management / Co-workers
Help to create a good image of the company to clients and the community
Protect, defend and promote the company brand
Loyal to the organisation

Monthly Salary and Benefits
N45,000 to N65,000 and opportunities to earn promotions and further benefits
