We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• Assist Supervisor to oversee the work of janitorial staff and ensure top notch sanitary conditions of UPBEAT facility to meet the needs of all internal and external customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in training Janitors on cleaning and maintenance tasks and processes
• Inspect work and investigate complaints regarding janitorial services and take corrective action.
• Review checklists daily to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
• Assist in the management and maintenance of stock inventory, monitor stock and reorder levels for all cleaning consumables; and make prompt requisition to ensure timely supplies replenishments and avoid stock-outs.
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
• Liaise with HR team and participate in recruitment exercise for janitors.
• Ensure all linens and bibs are properly laundered and clean
• Take note of faulty or damage facilities and notify Building Services Manager accordingly
• Represent Housekeeping Supervisor in meetings in his absence.

Person Specification

• Must be conversant with housekeeping processes in the hospitality sector.
• Result oriented and aggressive.
• Ability to follow procedures.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• High degree of independence with objectivity and assertiveness.
• Approachable with good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with staff across all levels.
• An enquiring mind set consistently seeking innovative ways to deliver without compromising quality.

Competency & Skills Requirement:

• Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
• Good interpersonal skill and communication skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 / month.
