Job Title: Graduate Accounting Trainee

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

JOb Description 

• Our Client is a team of experienced professionals who help with detailed accounting, financeand tax related operations. They make easy tax audits, pay roll management, advisory and regulatory services, tax returns and fillings.
• They excelled in accountancy, book keeping services and ledger management and assist their clients to achieve optimum tax efficiency without compromising provisions and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform research for budgeting and financial forecasting Record journal entries for business transactions using QuickBooks with proficiency.
• Check financial documents and journal entries for accuracy.
• Review and communicate instructions and notices regarding important tax documents Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and nonprofit organizations, including drafting of letters for tax notices. Handle data entry and records. Preparation of invoice and expense reports. Handle customer enquiries.
• Prepare customer and transaction documentation.
• Provide support on other assigned transactions and issues as may be required.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any finance related field from a top-tier university
• 0 to 1 year of work experience.
• Possession of an ICAN, ACCA or CFA Level 1 may be an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn & self-develop Working knowledge of Microsoft Office- Excel, PowerPoint & Word. Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Information technology savvy. Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Attention to detail and highly organized.

Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 / month.
