Description

• Exciting opportunity for a Waiter/ Waitress to join our dynamic tapas and cocktail bar team. Ideal candidates have previous customer service experience, strong communication skills, and a friendly demeanour. Responsibilities
Customer Service:

• Provide attentive and friendly service to patrons, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Take and accurately relay food and drink orders to the kitchen and bar.

Menu Knowledge:

• Familiarize yourself with the tapas menu and cocktail offerings.
• Offer recommendations and describe menu items to customers.

Table Management:

• Seat guests, present menus, and assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
• Monitor tables to ensure timely clearing and resetting for new guests.

Beverage Service:

• Serve cocktails and beverages with accuracy and attention to detail.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate customer requests and feedback to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service flow.

Upselling and Promotions:

• Promote daily specials, promotions, and upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience.
• Encourage customers to try featured cocktails or tapas.

Payment Handling:

• Process customer payments, including handling cash and operating POS systems.
• Provide accurate and timely bills to guests.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 1 year experience.
• Previous experience as a waitress or in customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with menu items and basic cocktail knowledge.
• Experienced in responsible alcohol service.
• Basic math skills for processing payments.
