Job Summary

• We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pedicurist to join our team. As a Pedicurist, you will provide professional foot and nail care services to our clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
• Your expertise in foot care, knowledge of nail health, and ability to deliver exceptional customer service will contribute to the overall success of our salon and promote a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients in a friendly and welcoming manner and ensure their comfort throughout the pedicure service.
• Assess clients' foot health and discuss any concerns or specific requirements they may have.
• Perform a range of foot care services, including soaking, exfoliating, trimming, and shaping nails, as well as removing calluses and dead skin.
• Apply moisturizers, lotions, and oils to nourish and hydrate the skin on the feet and lower legs.
• Provide foot and lower leg massages to promote relaxation and enhance circulation.
• Apply nail polish, gel polish, or other nail enhancements as requested by clients, ensuring a smooth and even application.
• Educate clients on proper foot care routines, including nail hygiene and moisturization techniques.
• Recommend and upsell retail products, such as foot creams, scrubs, and nail care items, to enhance the client experience and contribute to salon sales.
• Maintain a clean and sterile work environment by sanitizing tools, equipment, and workstations following proper disinfection protocols.
• Keep up-to-date records of client preferences, allergies, and any specific instructions for future visits.
• Stay informed about current nail care trends, techniques, and product knowledge by attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 3 - 5 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a Pedicurist or Nail Technician, preferably in a salon or spa setting.
• In-depth knowledge of foot anatomy, nail health, and common foot conditions.
• Proficiency in performing various pedicure techniques, including nail trimming, shaping, and cuticle care.
• Strong understanding of sanitation and sterilization practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Detail-oriented approach to deliver precise and high-quality pedicure services.
• Ability to provide foot and lower leg massages in a soothing and relaxing manner.
• Creativity and artistry in applying nail polish and nail enhancements.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current nail care trends, techniques, and products.
• Proper licensing and certification as required by local regulations.
