Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
Provide overall maintenance support to the production platform field teams for crude production and injection sustenance
Ensure that the standard operating procedures (SOP) for maintenance and production teams are reviewed and updated from time to time
Liaise with the Senior Maintenance Engineer in ensuring that all maintenance regulatory functions to government agencies and other regulators are carried out effectively and timely.
Liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for equipment technical supports and spares provision and supply.
Liaise with the Senior Maintenance Engineer in ensuring that all crude and gas measurement systems are calibrated in accordance with API and regulators standard and when required as inscribed in Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) procedures for crude quantity and quality
determination.
Assist with the review of daily crude production reports from all the platforms and flow station, and making inputs as necessary for crude oil production sustenance with regards to maintenance operations
Liaise with 3rd party contractors/vendors to ensure that various inspections and maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the stipulated industry standards
Ensure that standards are maintained across board in all Operational and Maintenance activities to be undertaking by the company
Develop and constantly review preventive maintenance schedule for all the platforms and flow station.
Generate and regularly update asset register for all Company assets
Liaise all internal and external stakeholders to ensure all scheduled maintenance activities are promptly carried out as required.
Minimum Education and Work Experience
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering field. A postgraduate degree will be an advantage.
Strong technical knowledge of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
Knowledge of Rotating Equipment, Wellhead Operations & Maintenance are required.
A minimum of 8 years' experience in an E&P Company Must be ready to work under pressure
Good proficiency with MS Office suite - Excel/ PowerPoint/Word/Project.
Good understanding of Lease Automatic Custody Transfer (LACT) Unit operations is required
Strong customer focus for both internal and the eternal parties.
Have detailed understanding of hydrocarbon processing systems Operations & Maintenance
Must have good written and oral communication skills.
The ideal candidate must have a good knowledge of facilities' practices and principles in piping, process and facility engineering.
He must have knowledge of rotating equipment, wellhead operations and maintenance as well as good understanding of Lease Automatic Custody Transfer (LACT) Unit operations.
In addition, the would-be candidate must have detailed understanding of hydrocarbon processing systems operations, maintenance and broad experience of the oil and gas maintenance operations.
Proficiency in IT, at least basic office software is compulsory.
