Job Description

• We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic Copy / Content Writing Intern for our Content marketing department, agile thinker/doer who brings unconventional thinking and innovation to the work.
• As an intern, you will have the ability to work with design and copy leads within our multi-talented team members to brainstorm campaign concepts and create content.
• Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain creative for the agency.
• This is a temporary role but it can become full-time quickly if we like your work and if you’re interested in becoming a full-time member of the team.
• Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and advertising and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities
Day-to-day responsibilities and learning opportunities will include:

• Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, PR, web designers and other professionals
• Writes, presents, and communicates in a polished, articulate, and persuasive manner across all mediums
• Actively participates in creative ideation for digital & social content, event activations, brand identity systems and other campaign elements
• Assists team members with writing of digital/social copy, and other copy for presentations and final execution
• Adapt writing style to a variety of voices across multiple mediums
• Conduct thorough research and dig out original niche content to re-use for our content marketing efforts by Analyzing competitors’ content, messaging and distribution tactics
• Continuous Learning about the target audience for exceptional copy writing. Identifying target audiences and their key demographics, interests, and online behavior. Surveying current customers to understand and validate strategic and tactical decisions.
• Researches and monitors the activity of company competitors

Requirements and Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / OND qualification.
• Has an insatiable curiosity and knowledge about all things social, web, and tech
• Possesses a hunger to learn and be mentored by professionals
• Loves all things digital and understands relevant social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok) is a bonus.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to take constructive criticism, work with minimal supervision and actively interact with team members.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate high-level thoughts, collect creative feedback, and creative direction in both writing and meetings.
• Mastered the art of story writing
• Experience creating, writing, editing, and publishing content for a business or personal brand. Please send along samples or links to the portfolio
• Prior internship experience in content marketing is a bonus.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Remuneration

• N50,00 - N70,000 monthly.
