Job Responsibilities

• As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of our fintech company, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the company's strategic vision.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of operational plans. Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Financial Management: Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Optimize financial performance and ensure the company's financial health.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational and strategic risks. Develop and implement risk management strategies.
• Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards. Collaborate with legal teams to address regulatory matters.
• Technology and Innovation: Drive technological innovation and the adoption of cutting-edge solutions. Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other executives and department heads to achieve organizational goals. Foster a culture of collaboration and communication.
• Scaling Operations: Develop and implement scalable operational processes to support business growth. Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity improvements.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team. Create a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall strategic plan. Align operational strategies with the organization's long-term objectives.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the CEO and the Board of Directors on operational performance and key metrics.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Additional qualifications such as MBA are highly desirable.
• Proven track record with at least 3 years of progressive experience in fintech or financial services.
• Previous executive-level experience in a COO or similar role.
• In-depth understanding of the fintech industry, financial markets, and emerging trends.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance in the financial sector.
• Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Experience in driving organizational growth and scaling operations.
• Expertise in optimizing operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Exceptional financial acumen with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
• Experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
