Job Title: Personal Home Chef

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Personal Chef to join our team! You must have a passion for creating delicious meals and be comfortable cooking in private kitchens.
Our ideal candidate knows how to develop menu items to meet the meal preferences of both the young and elderly.
You also order food and supplies, check ingredients for freshness, and prepare meals within the proper timeframe.
The chef is expected to clean the cooking area and store all kitchen equipment and utensils.
Duties and Responsibilities
Menu Planning: Create customized menus based on dietary preferences, health considerations, and cultural preferences.
Meal Preparation: Prepare daily meals from scratch, ensuring high-quality and flavorful dishes that meet the nutritional needs of the household members
Culinary Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines, including but not limited to Nigerian, Continental, Mediterranean, and Asian.
Dietary Restrictions: Accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies that members of the household may have, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone
Grocery Shopping: Plan and execute grocery shopping trips to source fresh, high-quality ingredients, and manage the kitchen inventory efficiently.
Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all equipment is in good working order and that hygiene and safety standards are strictly adhered to.
Special Occasions: Prepare and execute special meals for events, gatherings, and celebrations as requested by supervisor
Flexibility: Be adaptable to changes in schedule or dietary preferences, and adjust meal plans accordingly.
Collaboration: Work closely with other household staff, such as housekeepers and assistants, to ensure seamless operations within the residence.
Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in all matters related to the household.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Personal Chef, with a strong culinary background and expertise in various cuisines.
Culinary Education: Formal training from a recognized culinary school or institution is preferred.
5+ years relevant work experience.
Dietary Knowledge: Understanding of nutrition, dietary restrictions, and food allergies.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with the employer to understand preferences and provide updates on meal plans.
Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the employer's schedule.
Discretion: Maintain a high level of discretion and respect for the privacy of the employer.
Health and Safety: Adherence to health and safety standards in the kitchen.
Professionalism: Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate would be required to reside within the premises and would be give approved days off work.
Salary
N120,000 Monthly.
