Job Description
Leading the major projects delivery and overall operations (design review, construction supervision of various infrastructure projects from quality, HSE and sustainable point of view, planning & scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting & control, tendering, contract administration, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards).
Coordination of operations across the B&I Business Units
Appraise opportunities for alignment with the business plan and lead the go/no go process for all projects identified.
Organize and lead a team of professional engineers to develop bespoke proposals as well as effectively respond to large tender calls and submissions in a timely manner.
Coordinate and provide direction to all tender functions (sales, programme, procurement, HSE, bid support team) to develop a highly competitive, cohesive tenders.
Collaborative and identify multi-disciplinary resources within tight timelines in order to deliver efficient and cost-effective project proposals and execution.
Communicate effectively with clients/stakeholders during the implementation of projects, manage clients accounts and ensure timely payments during projects implementation.
Build, develop and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders, technology leaders and team members for the to the success of the Projects.
Identify new Opportunities in Building and Infrastructure
Qualifications
University Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Higher diploma in Project Management.
Must be a registered engineer in Nigeria
Minimum of 10 years of work experience in buildings and real estate sector and/or public works and transportation infrastructure segment.
Five (5) years’ experience in design review and construction supervision, working with various developers, consultants, and government agencies.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience in working with Governments & Regulatory Authorities, Multilateral Funding Organization and State Agencies.
Proven track record in successful tendering of major framework bids with significant pre-contract experience.
Knowledge and experience in audit of building mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment, Fire Life Safety systems.
Knowledge of Green Building Standards/Codes and Sustainability measurements.
Good knowledge of project management techniques, tools, and software.
Languages: Fluent in English. Another foreign language like French, Portuguese, or Chinese is a plus.
