Job Title: Divisional Head, Internal Control & Audit

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos,

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing reviews of internal controls, operating procedures, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Design the company's annual audit plan and perform periodic audits of various units within the firm.
• Review and appraise the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application of accounting and financial controls.
• Perform periodic risk assessments, analyze current risks, and identify potential risks that may affect the company.
• Compile SEC reports and returns.
• Conduct investigations as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Set a risk and compliance framework for the firm in line with the firm’s principles and culture.
• Proactively guide the integration of risk management with other organizational planning and management activities.
• Attend Board Audit and Risk Committee meetings and perform any other duties assigned by Management.
• Stay abreast of contemporary industry practices and knowledge.

Requirements

• Minimum of a First Degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts and a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA).
• Master's Degree in any of the above fields is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years in a similar role in the financial industry.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in a finance house, of which five should be in a managerial capacity. Experience can be concurrent.
• Relevant certifications (ICAN, ACCA, ACA) and/or other relevant professional qualifications.

Salary Budget
N18,000,000 - 24,000,000 Per Annum.
