Emmanuel Alayande University of Education was initiated by the Oyo State Government through the transformation of the former College of Education. This transformation aimed to address challenges related to access to tertiary education. The university has two campuses – the primary seat known as the Enelu campus and a secondary campus located in Oye Ekiti. The university offers various faculties and programs, contributing significantly to educational opportunities locally and internationally.

Description
The University Librarian is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the University Library and library services. The candidate should provide good leadership, command respect, and loyalty from library staff. Personal integrity, transparency, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial.
Requirements for the Candidate
Good honours Degree and a recognized professorial qualification in Librarianship
At least ten years post-qualification experience in the library of a higher educational institution
Several scholarly publications, administrative experience, and ability to provide academic leadership
Age Requirement:
Candidates for the position of University Librarian must be below the age of 60 years at the point of assumption of duty.
Terms and Conditions of Service
Successful candidates shall hold their respective offices for a single term of five (5) years each, on such conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.
The remuneration and other conditions of service applicable to the positions are as may be determined from time to time by the State Government/Governing Council of the University.

Each application should be accompanied by 30 copies of the candidate's detailed Curriculum Vitae, duly signed, and dated by the candidate.
