Job Summary

• The Banking Sector Analyst will be the primary coverage expert for the Banking Sector, playing a pivotal role in analyzing, building, and updating financial models.
• This individual will be actively engaged in crafting and publishing comprehensive seasonal and offseason reports while supervising junior analysts. Additionally, they will serve as the first-line reviewer for research reports and report directly to the Head of Research.
• The position involves active participation in strategic discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain intricate financial models related to the Banking Sector.
• Regularly update models to reflect market dynamics and industry trends.
• Create and publish insightful seasonal and offseason reports relevant to the Banking Sector.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all reports produced by the team.
• Supervise and guide junior analysts within the team.
• Foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
• Serve as the first-line reviewer for research reports, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall quality of research outputs.
• Actively participate in strategic discussions, providing valuable insights and analysis.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to contribute to overall organizational strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Banking Sector Analyst.
• Educational background in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
