About the Role
The Head of Talent Acquisition holds a pivotal role overseeing the development and execution of a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract, recruit, and retain top-tier talent.
This position involves close collaboration with key stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs, contributing significantly to workforce planning
Responsibilities
Strategic Recruitment Planning: Develop and execute the organisation's talent acquisition strategy in alignment with business goals and workforce planning needs.
Talent Sourcing and Attraction: Implement innovative and effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates through various channels, including online platforms, social media, networking events. and direct sourcing
Candidate Assessment and Selection: Design and implement a comprehensive candidate assessment and selection process, including the use of behavioural interviews, assessments, pre-employment screenings, and reference checks
Employer Branding: Work closely with the marketing team to enhance the organisation's employer brand. ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Recruitment Analytics: Utilize data and analytics to track and measure recruitment metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide insights and recommendations to optimise recruitment efforts.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other relevant vendors to ensure a pipeline of high-quality candidates
Onboarding and New Hire Integration: Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate new hires' smooth onboarding and integration, ensuring a positive and engaging experience
Compliance and Legal Requirements: Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring recruitment practices comply with relevant legislation and company policies.
Talent Acquisition Team Management Lead and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team, providing guidance, coaching, and continuous training to ensure their success
Continuous Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment processes, tools, and technologies, staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is prefered
Minimum of 4 years of people management in an HR function
7+ years of direct and relevant HR experience in talent acquisition or recruitment leadership roles.
HR certification feg. SHRM-SCP PHR plus
In-depth knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and diversity and inclusion practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data generate insights, and make data-driven decisions Strategic thinking ability to align talent acquisition strategies with organisational goals
Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
