Tezza Business Solutions Limited is a leading Software Quality Assurance and Testing multinational with a regional office in Lagos, Nigeria. We are a Software Quality Assurance and Testing Services provider. Our primary goal is to be the "go to" Quality Assurance & Software Testing company in East and West Africa while developing offshore resources to fill test automation positions (and other hard to find software testing capabilities) in the North America and European markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Frontend Developer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with a strong background in Python to join our dynamic IT team.
• As a Frontend Developer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing experience for our users.
• The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, a solid foundation in frontend technologies, and a passion for creating elegant and responsive interfaces using Python.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to understand project requirements and user experience goals.
• Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for web applications using Python and relevant frontend technologies.
• Implement responsive and intuitive designs with a focus on user experience and usability.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable frontend code.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in frontend development and Python technologies.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into functional web pages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to frontend development and user interface functionality.
• Participate in the planning and estimation of frontend development tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Frontend Developer with expertise in Python.
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular Python frontend frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).
• Experience with frontend libraries and frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming in Python.
• Proficient understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated on industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with web performance optimization and browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools, such as Webpack or Gulp.
• Knowledge of design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies.
• Contribution to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of previous work.
