Job Description

• As an Experienced Driver, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe and efficient transportation services for our guests and staff.
• Your experience, professionalism, and knowledge of the hotel and hospitality industry will contribute to providing exceptional service and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities
Guest Transportation:

• Provide safe and comfortable transportation for guests to and from the hotel, airport, and other designated locations.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage, ensuring their belongings are handled with care.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with guests, answering their questions, and providing local information as needed.

Staff Transportation:

• Transport hotel staff members to and from their designated locations, such as airports, train stations, or other hotel properties.
• Adhere to the designated schedules and ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of staff members to maintain operational efficiency.
• Assist staff with loading and unloading equipment or supplies as required.

Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or damages to the transportation supervisor or relevant department.
• Monitor fuel levels and replenish as necessary, keeping accurate records of fuel consumption.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing the safety of passengers and other road users.
• Maintain a clean driving record and valid driver's license throughout employment.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures related to vehicle usage, including occupancy limits and passenger safety guidelines.

Communication and Record-Keeping:

• Maintain clear and professional communication with the transportation supervisor and other hotel staff members.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, destinations, and any incidents or special requests.
• Provide timely updates to the transportation supervisor regarding any changes or delays in the transportation schedule.

Experience & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in driving or hospitality is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional driver, preferable in the hotel and hospitality industry.
• Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws, routes, and destinations in the area.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle guest requests, inquiries, and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the demands of the hotel industry.
