To reposition for impact which will enable them actualize their primary objective of becoming the mouthpiece of the organized private sector, they require the services of a vibrant and cerebral candidate to man their office location in Enugu in the capacity below:

Job Summary

• The Director General is responsible for a wide variety of strategic and administrative duties.
• He will collaborate with the President to achieve their core mandate which is robust advocacy.
• He shall drive all the activities of the chamber, mapping out innovative strategies to realize revenues through organizing trade missions/events, promote business development and collaborations, and membership drive.

. Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Initiate ideas and strategies to increase advocacy levels as well as raise revenues for the chamber to be self sustaining
• Supervise and coordinate chamber staff to execute the directives of the council
• Responsible for the maintenance, security and proper recording of the chamber’s assets
• Act as custodian of minutes, updating resolution and oversee filing minutes in an appropriate filling system.
• Attend all meetings and represent the chamber in events where necessary as directed by the President and council.
• To function as the secretary of any committee or sub-committee.

Qualifications

• B.Sc or M.Sc in Economics, Business Management, International Relations or any related field. A Doctorate Degree is a clear edge.

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years relevant work experience preferably in advocacy organizations 5 years cognate experience garnered from a spirits and wines production company.

• Must demonstrate proven experience in leading and managing others
• Detail-oriented with a clear commitment to quality improvement.
• Must be able to multi-task; capable of handling several issues at the same time to deliver results and meet desired deadlines.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Other Conditions:

• Candidate must presently reside in Enugu or can easily procure accommodation in Enugu.
• He must be ready to attend a physical interview within two weeks.
