DCSL Corporate Services Limited is a private limited liability company which provides company secretarial, governance, immigration and training services to diverse governmental, corporate and individual clients across several business sectors in Nigeria. We operate from our Head Office in Lagos, with operational branches in Abuja and Port Harcourt.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Lagos
Duration: 6 Month

Job Description

• Managing to ensure the accuracy of bookkeeping, statutory and regulatory reporting in strict adherence to deadlines. Including but not limited to: Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Implement internal controls, identify, and recommend processes, cost improvement opportunities.
• Manage accounting and finance operation daily with goal controls, timely bookkeeping, maintaining integrity of financials and timely production of management account for review and presentation to the Management and Board.
• Analyze and report financial data, including but not limited to Gross Margin per project, Fixed Costs and Payroll.
• Manage monthly closing and consolidation process and year-end financial audit process.
• Manage budget preparation, variance analysis, forecasting, financial modelling activities.
• Ad-hoc reporting as required by management.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Advanced degree in accounting would be preferred.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of overall combined accounting, finance experience as a Financial Controller/Deputy CFO managing a team.
• Minimum of ICAN certification. Any other professional qualification e.g. ACCA, CIMA is an added advantage.
• Sound experience in creating financial statements and implementing controls.
• Excellent knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
• Proficiency in Sage X3, auditing and accounting software.
